Ahmed Haleem Hameed is an Iraqi cinematographer and director from the city of Al-Shatra, born in 2001. He began his artistic journey as a photographer in 2014 before transitioning to cinema in 2018, where he has worked in cinematography, directing, and screenwriting. He aspires to create independent Iraqi cinema that reflects local identity through a creative vision. Among his notable works are films such as "Hibo" (2023) directed by Ali Sahr, "Al-Motor" (2022), and "A'amam" (2024) directed by Fuad Hanoun. His short documentary "Intimena" (2025) marks his debut as a director and screenwriter. He is a member of the Iraqi Photography Association and the Iraqi Artists Syndicate, a mechanical engineering student, and skilled in cinematography, directing, and screenwriting.
